With over 27 years of research experience related to recruitment, admission, financial aid modeling and student retention, Greg has been instrumental in the development of admissions validity assessments, predictive modeling tools, and geo-demographic clustering services for the College Board.

Greg is among the best-known and most-knowledgeable researchers in the field of enrollment management. He served for many years as Associate Provost for Institutional Research at Vanderbilt University and consulted widely with colleges and universities regarding the development of successful financial optimization models and retention strategies.

Greg’s background in clinical psychology, which includes a private practice in Nashville, also contributes to his unique perspective on the movement of students through the enrollment continuum. He has published numerous articles on enrollment management topics and was the primary author of the College Board’s 2003 publication Toward a Taxonomy of Admissions Decision-Making Process. Greg has also taught graduate courses at Vanderbilt in experimental design and statistics.
