ATLANTA (June 7, 2010) — Admissions Lab, a leading Microsoft Higher Education Partner, has received $1.5 million in funding to support the release of Enrollment Manager™, the world’s first fully on-demand higher education admissions management service.
Enrollment Manager™ gives higher education admissions professionals a better way to make their class by combining the best of on-demand enrollment management software with personalized enrollment services. Created by a group of former college and university executives with 100 combined years of higher education experience, Enrollment Manager™ equips admissions officers with:
- Tools built on Microsoft’s Dynamics CRM Platform to manage their enrollment pipeline and wow prospective students;
- Campaigns designed to help them communicate more effectively and build life-long relationships with prospects;
- Analytics for evaluating the health of their school’s enrollment pipeline and yield their best fit class;
- Virtual Enrollment Coordinator™ program to assist in completing key admissions-related tasks, giving them time back to focus on what matters most — making their class!
"Enrollment Manager™ revolutionizes the way colleges and universities communicate with prospects,” says Dr. Douglas Wofford, CEO, Admissions Lab. “Schools can relate to them using their preferred communication channels, all while tracking and analyzing their interactions. It’s hands down a better way to make your class."
With Enrollment Manager™, admissions professionals get all this functionality on-demand with no hardware to buy or install or people to hire, and all from a single, trusted source.
Showing its continued support of Admissions Lab, the National Science Foundation provided $500,000 in funding (NSF Grant IIP-0956891) through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program to develop the integrated modeling technology used by Enrollment Manager™ to project and shape enrollment outcomes. Cutstone Ventures invested additional funds to support the service’s rebranding and launch.
“Enrollment Manager™ is changing the world of higher education enrollment,” says Morris Miller, managing director and CEO, Cutstone Ventures.
In addition, Microsoft's Public Sector unit “recognized a great opportunity to help Admissions Lab develop a game-changing offering on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform,” says Amir Caprilles, director, U.S. Public Sector – Dynamics at Microsoft.
